Visma Ski Classics
On Saturday 4 April, both professional and recreational skiers will meet up again for the Ylläs-Levi classic technique race, one of the Visma Ski Classics race series and the finale of the international XC skiing season.
Ylläs-Levi offers skiers two different trails to choose from. Both take you through Lapland’s incredibly beautiful fell and national park scenery from Ylläs to Levi. They both offer a unique experience and a memorable trip for both elite and recreational skiers alike.
Ylläs-Levi 70 km is suitable for top-level skiers looking for a challenge. There are three fells for skiers to climb over surrounded by the magical wilderness and wildlife. With easier skiing in the northern swamp-like bog areas, there are great opportunities to spot reindeer along the trail.
Ylläs-Levi 55 km is suitable for more relaxed yet motivated amateur skiers who train regularly. The scenic Kukastunturi fell peak will be included in this shorter course, weather permitting.
Registration for Ylläs-Levi 70 km and 55 km is open - sign up now to get an early bird discount!
For the fourth time, the Ylläs-Levi race will be the final event in the Visma Ski Classics series. The first official race was held in 2016, and a year later in 2017, it was chosen as the final event of the Visma Ski Classics.
Other legendary Visma Ski Classics events include the Vasaloppet (se), Birkebeinerrennet (no) and Marcialonga (it).
Come along and support the skiers or take part yourself. See www.vismaskiclassics.com for more information.
