ALWAYS BE PREPARED for changes in the weather. Bring along extra clothing and food. Also remember to bring an up-to date trail map and fully-charged mobile phone.
OPEN FIRES are allowed at campfire sites. Open fires are forbidden also at campfire sites during forest fire warnings.
CAMPING in the National Park is permitted in immediate proximity to huts and lean-tos.
YOU ARE obligated to provide assistance in the event of an accident, stop to help others. If rescue services are needed, please call emergency number 112.
KEEP THE NATURE litter-free. Bring out everything you bring in.
SLOW DOWN when encountering others on the trail. Yield to hikers and other trail users.
STAY ON TRAILS. Avoid hard braking and stay on the trail to prevent terrain erosion.
BIKING IS ALLOWED in National Park on Official marked summer trails (except in Varkaankuru, Pirunkuru, Tahkokuru and Kellostapuli).
INSPECT YOUR BIKE and gear. Use a helmet and be prepared for breakdowns, such as a tyre puncture.
RIDE SAFELY. Always use a helmet. Choose trails by your skills. Not all trails in the area are suitable for mountain biking.
